Unfortunately, IT leaders cannot freeze their way to zero outages. Change must happen, but a data-driven approach is needed to evaluate which changes pose the greatest risk. The need is further amplified because customers on the path to a digital transformation are being asked to deploy changes at a faster volume and with fewer resources. On average, enterprises deploy 1,000-5,000 changes per month and this volume is growing at a double-digit rate. It’s impossible to manage this overwhelming amount of change with traditional risk assessment questionnaires and CAB processes.
