Kimberly Simon is senior vice president, Business Operations for the Cyber & Intelligence business of Operations & Technology (O&T) at Mastercard. In this role, she is responsible for protecting and standardizing the business operations practice globally.  She also is responsible for the Service Operation Tools program which include the ITSM practices across the business, as well as the Asset Management practices.

Prior to this role she has held other key roles including the processing business during the demonetization in India as well as fueling the profitability of the processing business with new customers in India (ie Airtel).   She has also led the Service Management team in the Digital Space.  In this role she was responsible for the management of the ApplePay and SamsungPay launches and ensured it was executed flawlessly. She also established the first Launch Playbook within Mastercard that has been the model for all launches within Mastercard.

Since joining Mastercard, Ms. Simon has served in various leadership roles. She has more than 25 years of experience in the financial and payments industries including 7 years of experience in settlement and fraud.

Before joining Mastercard, Ms. Simon served as a director for Enterprise Rent-a-Car payment department. In this position she was responsible for ACI and settlement for the business. Prior to this position, she held roles as senior software engineer, process engineer, as well as database administrator at Monsanto.

Ms. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science from Saint Louis University.  As well as a Masters from Webster University in Management and Leadership.  She is also pursuing her PhD from UMSL in Global Leadership.
