Saar Shwartz
Saar Shwartz is chief marketing officer for BMC Software, Inc. Saar spent his early career working in R&D on the industry-leading Control-M solution. He joined BMC in 1999 after the company acquired Control-M, and has progressed through roles in product management and marketing. Prior to being named CMO, Saar led strategic marketing for BMC and was a significant contributor to the company’s 2014 rebranding following its privatization. Prior to his BMC career, he spent six years as an officer in the Israeli Air force working with complex, real-time software systems for combat airplanes.
Saar has a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing from the University of Houston. He also studied aeronautical and space engineering at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
