Vishal Choksi is Chief Architect and innovation evangelist (APJ) for BMC Software. In this role, he works with enterprises to bring their digital strategies to life through the application of practical architectures, joint innovation, Agile delivery, and digital operating models. Prior to joining BMC, Vishal was a Head of Architecture and Engineering at Metricon Homes, where he focused on building a talented, engaged, and motivated technology organization, empowering them to do extraordinary things. He believes a technology leader starts with the customer and works backwards to develop the right technology strategy that maximizes business potential, which can react to change, drive continuous improvement, and ultimately serve their customers better. Vishal holds master’s degrees in advanced corporate strategy and finance from the Quantic School of Business and Technology as well as computer science from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is an advisory board member for the Enterprise Architecture Summit Australia. Earlier in his career, Vishal worked at TradingPost, Austock Life, and tech startups in software engineering and architecture roles.
